I worked with a client that seemed to underestimate the power of facebook/instagram ads for her ecommerce business… I know! A company that sells online, thinks that having a couple of thousand followers and posting on her page will boost sales.
This should have been a red flag for me. After the initial 90 days of running ads for her, her company ran out of stock. She didn’t estimate that her sales would increase by 250% in 12 weeks and so didn’t prepare.
I had to pause her campaign and take up sudoku!
Once she finally restocked, the supply and demand effect kicked in, which did actually help with the copywriting.
